When to go?

Prague is an all year round city. Spring is beautiful and the city comes alive as evenings are longer and temperatures warmer. Summer can be very hot but so are lots of places. Autumn is crisp and cool. However, Millington Travel cannot resist Prague during the winter, especially before Christmas when Christmas Markets and festivity take over the city. Wrap up against the cold, sip mulled wine, and soak up a truly magical atmosphere. If you are lucky enough to have snow, you are in the middle of a living Christmas card!
Food & Drink
Apart from the numerous pavement cafes around Prague’s Old Town Square, there are lots of pubs and restaurants scattered all over the city. Traditional Czech food consists of Pork, Beef, and Dumplings which you will find on any restaurant menu around Prague – definitely worth a try! The most popular drink in the Czech Republic is beer! Why not take a trip to Zizkov, located approx. 10 minutes from Prague and visit the genuine Czech Beer Hall!
